It offers comprehensive disease management services, primarily to group health plans, for chronic, high-cost diseases, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, coronary artery disease, diabetes and heart failure. Through this, Alere Medical Inc reduces unnecessary hospitalizations, lowers healthcare costs and improves treatment compliance and member satisfaction. With healthcare costs rising, TA Associates Inc expects Alere Medical Inc to continue an attractive growth trajectory. Alere Medical Inc was a portfolio company of MTS Health Partners.
